The client wanted to transform her outdated kitchen into a space that better blended with her unique furnishings. She had a large collection of Art Deco antiques in the adjoining great room that did not coordinate with her monotonous kitchen. The black irons and reddish millwork and floors inspired eucalyptus green cabinetry, a bright white hexagon backsplash and marbled counters. The glass cabinets were specially developed to showcase her Americana Rookwood Pottery from 1880. This Nouveau de Cuisine is the ultimate blend of classic and contemporary.
