Selena was a true pleasure to work with. She spent a good amount of time upfront truly understanding our goals for our 2 bathroom remodel projects. Based on these initial conversations, she was able to present us with options, leaving the final decision up to us yet providing her expert opinion when needed. This is the kind of partnership that we were looking for since we had limited time and no expertise in bathroom design.

We hired Fitch Design to assist with a hall bathroom refresh and a primary bathroom and closet remodel. Selena listened to our needs and created a wonderful design for us. She handled all the engineering and permitting and supported us throughout the construction process, addressing any questions or problems we encountered. Selena is a fantastic interior designer who I have had the pleasure working with for around 5 years. We are forever grateful to Selena and Sarabeth for helping us design and carry out our renovation! Our 1917 home had a funky layout and was in need of serious modernization. This was a massive project that involved tearing the interior out down to the studs. We went from a 2 bedroom/1 bath home, to a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home with a dedicated laundry room, with extensive upgrades to layout, style, functionality, and storage.

We can’t say enough good things about the experience so I’ll mention a few. From Day 1 the team was so fun to work with. With so many details and decisions it would have been easy to be overwhelmed, but Selena stepped us through every step of the process with care. From the 3D overviews, to shopping for materials, down to a full specification book for every fixture.

No problem was too great and no question was too small for them to tackle over many emails, texts, visits, and video chats. To boot, when the project broke ground, Selena was there every step of the way make sure our contractors had what they needed to execute the vision while we were out of town with family.

Selena always had the best counsel, championed the vision, and the results have been a dream. It was a wonderful experience and we already miss working with them. LOVE this team, highly recommend!

Our remodel project began as a garage conversion into more living room space which required a design and drawings for an addition permit. Selena drew up the plans and worked with the city to obtain the permit. Immediately after receiving the permit, a family member unexpectedly moved in and we had to abruptly change the purpose for the space to a bedroom with bathroom. Selena quickly redesigned the space and came up with a nice solution to the small bathroom. This required an amendment to the permit which was approved quicker than anticipated.

As a remodeling contractor, one of the most difficult aspects of my job is getting clients to commit to a design and product selection that will not only look good, but also function well. I’ve worked with a number of design teams over the years, and while many have been great with client interactions and designing beautiful spaces, very few have the technical abilities to put together a full set of plans and specification that we can trust.

Selena and her team were great. They came up with great solutions on maximizing space in our small home. I love how her team works seamlessly with engineers, permitting and contracting; it made everything feel streamlined and easy! We had a structural engineer, permitting and a geological survey done and all the planning and coordination felt seamless.

We didn’t end up going through with the design plans due to construction costs skyrocketing last year. A huge bummer for us, but I’m sure had we gone through with it, it would’ve been lovely.

Over the last 5 years my wife and I have worked with Selena and her team on 2 separate projects on our nightmare of a house, and honestly without Selena’s help I don’t know how we would have made it through our remodel. We love Selena’s no-nonsense manner. The number of decisions we were faced with during the design phase of our first and largest project was completely overwhelming, but Selena guided us through the whole project from determining the layout, engineering, pulling the right permits, finding trustworthy contractors, and choosing all our various finishes including but not limited to: flooring, tile, cabinets, vanities, bathroom hardware, kitchen hardware, paint & trim colors, countertops, etc.

While the scope and cost of our first project ballooned significantly from start to finish that was entirely a result of deep structural issues we discovered during the demo phase of the project, and Selena was there to help us navigate the scope changes in a way that we could afford. Throughout the process she was always honest about the costs of her work and estimated costs for implementing the designs we built together which helped us immensely when it came to judging the feasibility and cost of our ideas.

We had so many problems manifest before and during our long remodeling journey, and every time we hit a wall in the process that had us seriously considering walking away from the project and the house at a loss Selena would come through with solutions. She was the lynchpin that held our projects together, and we are so happy with the results.

I hope to never embark on a major remodel again, but if I find myself at the start of a new project Selena would be the first person I’d call. As an aside, throughout this review I mostly referred to Selena because she’s who we interfaced with the most, but anytime we worked or communicated with her staff we received the same great service.
